About CUSU

CUSU is a charity that exists to improve the experience of students at Coventry University Wrocław. It's run by students, for students.

Students' Unions often provide sport and social activities, volunteering, advice, representation, and opportunities for personal development.

CUSU Wrocław is brand new. This means we don't provide most of those, yet. But as our first students you can tell us what is most important to you.

Who runs CUSU?

You do! Each year we ask students to elect who they want to represent them.

There are Full-Time Officers elected to spend a year working full-time for students across all Coventry University locations.

There are also part-time officers and reps who work on specific issues, areas, and courses.

Board of Trustees

As a charity, the Students' Union is overseen by a Board of Trustees, which is ultimately responsible for the governance of the charity. The Board of Trustees is legally responsible for CUSU and ensuring that CUSU complies with relevant legal frameworks. They also ensure sound financial decisions making and set the strategy for CUSU alongside Student Council.

The Board of Trustees is made up of:

  • The full-time Executive officers
  • Two student members
  • One member of Coventry University Board of Governors
  • Two external Trustees who volunteer their time
